James P. Moore

Managing Partner, Chief Executive Officer

As Managing Partner and CEO of Vine, Jim Moore brings nearly three decades of financial world expertise to the firm’s growing portfolio of assets in the media and entertainment space, providing strategic direction and executive management to Vine’s portfolio companies.

Mr. Moore is recognized by his industry peers as a thought leader with respect to navigating the ever-present complexities and the current challenges facing the industry from outside pressures and current world events.  His vision for the future of the industry has positioned Vine to be a leader within the rapidly evolving entertainment landscape by integrating core components of the future content creation ecosystem with industry executives with strong leadership and execution credentials.

Prior to Vine, Moore spent more than 16 years at JP Morgan and then as Head of Asset Backed Securities at ABN Amro, North America, where he oversaw the bank’s commercial paper conduit, commercial mortgage backed, and public ABS businesses.

Moore has a successful track record of developing start-up businesses including serving as a senior member of JPM’s public ABS team that grew the business from a startup to #5 in the league tables during the mid-1990’s;  the founding of ABN Amro Bank’s US term ABS business; along with the creation of Dresdner Kleinwort’s US Financial Institutions Banking Group.

William E. Lambert

Partner, Chief Investment Officer

Bill Lambert is a Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Vine.  Mr. Lambert provides oversight of all risk assessment, underwriting, structuring and portfolio management activities with respect to Vine’s fund investments.

He lends significant transaction and legal documentation experience to Vine’s onboarding process.  Lambert also heads Vine’s investor relations activities including its fundraising efforts and regular communications with investors.

Mr. Lambert’s background includes 20 years of investment banking experience with a focus in media and entertainment that started at Chemical Bank where he was trained in credit, structuring and transaction execution.  He spent 12 years at Dresdner Kleinwort in the Media & Entertainment Group responsible for structuring and marketing a variety of capital markets solutions for his clients. Mr. Lambert founded the Leveraged Finance Group at Dresdner Kleinwort where he led the effort to integrate the institution’s private equity sponsor driven M&A practice with its leveraged finance capabilities.

Mr. Lambert serves as a member of Vine’s investment committee and is a Board member of Village Roadshow, a Vine portfolio company.

Stephen A. Kovach

Partner, Head of Business Origination

As a Partner of Vine, Stephen Kovach brings over twenty-five years of investment banking, capital markets and private equity experience to the firm.  Mr. Kovach plays a key role in creating and maintaining Vine’s relationships across the media and entertainment industry and is frequently tapped to speak as a panelist for his broad understanding of the media and entertainment space and its evolving trends.

He sits on the firm’s investment committee and in conjunction with Messer’s Moore and Lambert, sets strategic direction for Vine’s portfolio companies.

Prior to Vine, Mr. Kovach worked at Dresdner Kleinwort for eight years.  As part of the investment banking division, he worked on numerous mergers & acquisitions, balance sheet management and capital markets transactions.

Mr. Kovach serves on the board of Village Roadshow, is a member of the CFA Institute and received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2002.

Quinn Wang

Vice President

Mr. Wang joined Vine in 2018, where his responsibilities include investment underwriting, transaction support, deal execution, monitoring and reporting.

Mr. Wang’s background includes:

  • Investment Banking within BMO Capital Markets
  • Advised companies on mergers and acquisitions as well as capital raising
  • B.B.A with a concentration in Finance from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School

Ryan Mayzell

Vice President

Mr. Mayzell joined Vine in 2021, where his responsibilities include investment underwriting, transaction support, deal execution, monitoring and reporting.

Mr. Mayzell’s Background Includes: 

  • Investment Banking within Deutsche Bank’s Media and Telecom Coverage Team, where he focused in the media and entertainment vertical
  • While at Deutsche Bank, assisted clients on a variety of strategic and financial initiatives including capital raises and M&A
  • Assisted senior management in the build-out of Deutsche Bank’s music and entertainment practice
  • Prior to his role in Industry Coverage, served as an Analyst within Deutsche Bank’s leveraged finance team working with clients in media, telecom, and diversified Industrials
  • B.S. in Finance and Masters in Accounting from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business

Adam Paley

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Paley joined Vine in 2010. He is currently Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer with responsibility for oversight of all company accounting, financial reporting and company compliance requirements. He is the liaison with Vine’s third party administrator, custodian, auditor and tax preparer. Mr. Paley is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Paley’s background includes:

  • Over eight years in both private and public accounting. Focused on a wide array of products and services included accounting, auditing and tax services.
  • Three years at public accounting firm BDO USA in the financial services group. Responsibilities included: reviewing investment manager internal controls, preparation of financial statements, investment fair value evaluations and review of fund net asset value calculations for hedge funds, fund of funds and private equity funds.
  • Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York State.
  • B.S. in Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.B.A. in Investment Management from Pace University Lubin School of Business.

Julia Anikushina

Fund Controller

Ms. Anikushina joined Vine in 2017 as a senior accountant. She is responsible for all company accounting and financial reporting.

Ms. Anikushina’s background includes:

  • Six years of both corporate and private equity accounting experience with a focus on preparation of financial statements, fund net asset value calculations for private equity funds and fund of funds
  • Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York State.
  • B.B.A. in Accounting from Baruch College and an M.S. in Taxation from Pace University Lubin School of Business.
